What Makes Us Different

STP is a trading company with a transformational work concept. We believe that the traditional way of doing business, focusing only on the bottom line, is no longer enough.

It is necessary to go further, reconciling economic returns with an extra purpose for consumers and families involved in production chain. For STP, this is the way for companies to contribute to building a better world and helping our partners to pursue this path is our goal.

STP understands that sustainability is not optional, but the basis for the growth of a business. Therefore, sustainable production models need to be in the DNA of companies. In this context, STP works with producers of all sizes, but with a focus on small and medium-sized ones, as they are the ones that generate the most jobs and, together, account for most of the wealth produced in developing countries.

On the other hand, however, small and mid-size businesses lack access to capital markets, credit lines, financing at competitive rates and consumer markets (exports), and they do not always have knowledge about regulations and high performance management. STP works to include these food producers in commercial partnerships, supporting and providing a business environment in which they can prosper in economically while starting or adapting their production models to grow sustainably.
